Symposium „Take Control - Peaks & Valleys“ started

Juwi MacMillan Group launches innovative refresher course concept for Lilly Deutschland

11. March 2006 – With the symposium „Take Control - Peaks & Valleys™“, beginning today in Frankfurt, the Juwi MacMillan Group began a multistage sequence of events, with which Lilly Deutschland is setting new standards of diabetology.

In addition to the symposium, Peaks & Valleys™ comprises 24 regional discussions and a multitude of local events in which participants learn of the latest developments at first hand. The academic and scientific realization and coordination of Peaks & Valleys™ was carried out by the Healthcare Marketing specialists within the Juwi MacMillan Group.


The latest research results on diabetology will be introduced at the two-day event, attended by an international audience. With these measures, the various information requirements of diabetologists in clinics and practices, GPs and staff are covered. As Peaks & Valleys is also CME-certified, doctors can also gather refresher course points.

The subsequent series of discussions are interactive refresher courses, within which diabetologists can discuss the practical application of the latest scientific progress. The 24 events, spread throughout Germany, are also targeted at diabetes advisors and assistants.

Peaks & Valleys™ is supported by a scientific advisory council consisting of seven practicing diabetologists.

The report of the symposia will be published in an Autumn 2006  special edition of the Deutschen Medizinischen Wochenschrift (DMW).
