Within the framework of the nationwide Future Day (Zukunftstag) on the 26 April, seven students visited the Juwi MacMillan Group. Students from academic years 5 to 10 were able to explore previously "atypical occupations" at the Future Day and learn about the further education possibilities. For a day, Sarah (11), Julia Marie (12), Phillip (15), Svenja (12), Madita (11), Julia (12) and Justus (15) worked just like the grown-ups in the specialized health marketing agency in Walsrode.
Steffen Drotschmann, Sebastian Eich and Fabian Surburg, three trainees of Juwi MacMillan, stood by the sides of their protégés for the entire day. They showed the young people not only around the firm, but helped them in all of their tasks.
Among other things, the students designed their own internet presence. The seven young guests were also given the opportunity of altering their own snaps on the computer. "I took a photo and changed it!" announced Madita proudly. Subsequently they played on the agency’s own golf course at the firm’s idyllic location in Walsrode, where tomorrow’s “fellow-workers” were able to whack a few balls!
"We are delighted that there are so many young people curious about tomorrow’s possibilities and are more than happy to give them the chance of experiencing professional life” said Gawain MacMillan.
