Homepage realized by Juwi MacMillan is winner in the study "University Clinics on the Net”

First place for the web presence of the Dusseldorf university clinic:
The internet presence of the university clinic Dusseldorf (www.uniklinik-duesseldorf.de) is the frontrunner:  This was the conclusion of a comparative study at the University of Bonn of 36 German university clinic websites.  The study examined the four most important demands on a clinic internet presence:-  target group differentiation, dialogue orientation, user friendliness and up-to-date relevance.

In the study, both the general web page, the specialized cardiology and gynecology clinics and the HNO-clinics of all German university clinics were studied.  In the general web page category, the Düsseldorf university clinic was the victor; its presentation of general patient information and visitor information as well as target group differentiation were especially positively ranked. The presences of the specialty clinics were in third place. In the overall ranking of the study, the university clinic of Dusseldorf with its Juwi MacMillan designed homepage took second place.  Participants could reach a maximum of 1960 points.  Apart from the university clinic Dusseldorf, only Tübingen and Marburg scored more than 1100 points.

Said Gawain MacMillan, managing director of the Juwi MacMillan Group, "In the re-launch of the internet presence of the Düsseldorf university clinic, our main aim was to create an unmistakable brand through clear main pages and user-friendly graphics and so to bracket all of the specialty pages together.  The close collaboration with the departments for marketing and communication made such an optimal result possible”.

The technical basis of the new Düsseldorf web-presence is the communication platform Conquest, which Juwi MacMillan designed and developed especially for businesses in the health market.  Further, over the Conquest® based links, primary care doctors can access information on services, contacts and opening times of the specialized departments of the various clinics.  A new module will shortly be online, which will allow doctors to gather certified further education points. "With these measures, the quality, appeal and utility of their  total internet presence will climb further and Düsseldorf’s advantage over its rivals will increase", said MacMillan.
