With a new leadership structure, the Juwi MacMillan Group has set the target for further growth and for a higher profile market debut for its five agency areas. With Anette Vitz heading the Public Direct Unit and Susanne Specht leading the Medical Education Unit, managing directors Peter Jungblut-Wischmann and Gawain MacMillan have made the first significant changes.
After completing her political studies, Anette Vitz (37) worked as a journalist and press officer and was laterally speaker of the association of research chemists (VFA) in Berlin. The editorial teams of Public Direct in Walsrode and Hamburg specialize in pharmaceutical, medical and scientific themes, generating target-group specific text and PR material for customers in the pharmaceutical industry, for hospitals, physicians and medical product manufacturers.
The Medical Education Unit is led by Susanne Specht. After working as a midwife and studying media sciences and medical history, the 36-year-old worked in healthcare PR and as a conference manager at the Euroforum in Düsseldorf, Germany. At Juwi MacMillan, she will expand the training offer and realize new, certified modules for doctors’ advanced education (so-called Certified Medical Education, CME); she will also lead the development of specific themed events for the pharmaceutical and medical industry.
Both advertising agency and marketing consulting units at Juwi MacMillan will continue to be headed by Peter Jungblut-Wischmann. Joint managing director Gawain MacMillan is also responsible for communication technologies.
